Foreigners are required to obtain a nonimmigrant visa before entering into Myanmar.
Foreign national who apply for visa must possess a valid national passport or Travel Document valid for travel to Myanmar.
The validity of passport and Travel Document shall be at least six months from the date of entry into Myanmar.
Valid for 3 months from the date of issued.
Visa Application Forms are obtainable at the Embassy's visa section free of charge. Forms can also be downloaded from our web site.

NEW! VISA PROCESSING TIME - visa applications at the embassy will take three working days for Business, Entry, Religious and Social Visa . Tourist Visa will take five working days as usual.

Apply by the mail service system

Individuals/groups applicants wishing to apply visa by mail/post can freely contact to the Embassy.

Application Form should completely to be filled out all the information given in the visa form, and attached all the necessary documents.

Embassy will not bare the responsibility for the delaying of visa caused by the incomplete application and unattached necessary documents.

Visa processing time is depended on the completion of application form and well attached of all the necessary documents. Processing time for all visa applications is seven working days. To be returned your passport at requested address by post it will take two to three days depending on the distance and postal service.
