MULTIPLE JOURNEY ENTRY (MJEV) Visa Application

• Applicants use to travel to Myanmar for business purposes at least 3 times in a year or more than that, are able to apply Multiple Journey Entry Visa.    

  • Foreigners are required to obtain a before entering into Myanmar. Foreign national who apply for Multiple Journey Entry (MJEV) Visa must possess a valid national passport or Travel Document valid for travel to Myanmar.

  • The validity of passport and Travel Document shall be at least six months from the date of entry into Myanmar.

  • Visa Application Forms are obtainable at the Embassy's visa section free of charge. Forms can also be downloaded from our web site. 

  • At present Myanmar Embassy in Tokyo is providing the following visa services:-

  • Monday to Friday (Holiday List click here)

  • 09:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Visa Application Hours)

  • 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  (Visa Collection Hours)

  • (12:00 ~ 13:00 pm lunch break)

  • Processing Time Three working days

  • Valid for 3 months from the date of issued.

  • Valid for 1 year or 6 months according the applicants requested from the date of issued.
  • Maximum duration of stay in Myanmar is 10 weeks for the each entry
  • Visa fees is Yen- 24,000 per person  (for 1 year), Yen- 12,000 per person (for 6 months)

  • 3 original color photos (35 mm x 45 mm) of applicant taken recently, to be posted on Business/Entry visa application forms and Report of Arrival Form.

  • Valid Passport (valid for 6 months at least from the date of entry) with the available visa page.

  • Completely filled out all the forms and signed by the applicant.

  • Recommendation Letter from applicant's company or organization in Japan .  (Sample)

  • Invitation Letter from a company or organization or sponsor or host in Myanmar. (Samples)

  • Visa fee should be transferred in advance (if you send your application through by mail) to the following account and submit the original receipt together with your application forms. (Payment from Internet is not acceptable. Some of the bank's ATM machines may not accept to transfer also. In that case please make payable at the bank counter services.)
